Ask anybody who
is gifted with past life memories, about their past lives and they will tell you wild stories of bold adventures.
Do you really expect them to recall an ordinary existence?
The Following is an excerpt from Sister Janice's life as Peggy Arnold, Benedict Arnold's
wife:
Benedict's
Wife- This is my interpretation of Peggy Arnold’s life. She was a fighter for love of her husband, because
he offered his wife loyalty, above all else. This is where the life of Peggy Arnold shall begin: War breaks hearts and ruins
lives and Peggy was no exception to this fact. Pulled in many directions by family and friends, she chose to remain by her
husband’s side. Peggy was a woman with an illness that was unspeakable in those days. She was troubled with anger and
rage over the war, because she chose to wall up her emotions in response to her pain. Another side effect of war is anxiety
and terror.
When
Benedict carried out his plans, Peggy felt great satisfaction and enjoyment. She was twisted with rage, as we have already
discovered, and this lead to her distrust of all men, except for her husband. Without her family’s solid support, she
became Benedict’s biggest supporter. Cynical and thoughtful, she told her children, “Take what you can get out
of life and leave others to their own devices.”
Peggy fixed her eyes upon her husband. She had tallied up his good traits against his bad traits
and decided that he was her hero. His approach to life suited her, because he worked to change his circumstances without regard
to others’ opinions. Going against popular opinion is never easy, but she persevered, as did her husband.
“Never look a gift horse in the
mouth,” was one of Peggy’s favorite quotes, used when she felt discouraged about her life with Benedict. She fervently
believed in giving thanks. Another positive belief held by Peggy was, “Hold fast to your dreams.” She will never
be known as a woman of truth and light, but she purely trusted her husband. He held her in his arms each night and told her
that he loved her.
